The approximately 1,600 square-foot addition to the home included six bathrooms, five bedrooms, a baby sleeping room and a laundry facility. The home included more than 6,300 total square feet of living space to be home to six girls, six infants and two house parents, thus adding 12 shelter beds for homeless families in metro Atlanta. Tapestry was a non-profit that focused efforts on establishing a transitional group home for homeless mothers, younger than age 17, and their infants. Located in Fulton County, this renovation project provided a home for six young mothers and their babies. Tapestry is no longer in operation.
